FAQs
By choosing this site, you won't pay any extra for your Lego artwork, since you won't be charged for calculating the image in bricks. You can choose your colors from several suppliers, eliminate certain colors to reduce costs, and choose the size of your work. The site also provides an online spreadsheet to estimate your cost price. You'll get a free image canvas with color legend. Then all you have to do is order your bricks and plates from the suppliers of your choice.
The calculation of the Lego image is done in javascript. If you disable scripts on your browser, you will still be able to browse this site but you will never be able to load an image and generate a canvas. You will also not be able to contact us via the contact form.
The Lego image is calculated in HTML5 using the Canvas element. Your Internet browser is either too old or incompatible with this technology. You will therefore never be able to load an image and generate a canvas on our site. Compatible browsers are Chrome (v4.0 and above), Edge (v9.0 and above), Firefox (v2.0 and above), Safari (v3.1 and above), Opera (v9.0 and above).
You do not need to create an account to use the service. Your personal data cannot therefore be stored or sold. As regards the images uploaded to our service, everything is done on the client side and our server therefore receives no data from your images. However, you can send us a photo of your artwork using the contact form so that it can be displayed in our gallery. With regard to the contact form, you will be asked for an email address and a first name/pseudonym, but this is for the sole purpose of being able to reply to you. Your contacts will never be resold.
Please notify us of any changes to available sellers or colour problems via the contact page. Sometimes sellers simply change the name of colours.
Uploaded images must have a resolution less than or equal to 8192 pixels for width and 8192 pixels for height (4096 pixels for width and 4096 pixels for height on iOS). If you think your image is correct, you can always send it to us via the contact form so that we can investigate the problem and possibly make corrections to the site.
You must click on the "Cost calculation" button for the data entered to be saved.
Transparent colours (alpha parameter set to zero) are managed and excluded from the brick count and cost count, and are represented by an empty box in the canvas. Either your image already has a transparent zone, or you need to create it using image editing software with the magic wand tool. The transparent parts of your images will appear in white on the image calculation page, as this is the default background colour. The tutorial part of the site gives an example of an image with transparency. Please refer to this section for further details.
Image calculations are managed on the client side, i.e. on your computer or phone. If your device is a little old and lacks computing power, image generation will be slower.
This can happen because there is a protection that obliges users to have at least two selected colours in total.
Simply send us a photo of your artwork via the contact page, specifying the first name or pseudonym you want displayed, the number of bricks and the actual physical size.
The site is responsive. In other words, it is displayed according to the resolution of the device reading it. Perhaps your web browser doesn't manage media queries (CSS3) because it's too old or incompatible. If this is the case, the display will be optimised for mobile phones and you may end up with a zoomed display even on your computer. Another possible cause is if you are using a custom stylesheet on your browser. If you think your display problem is different, please contact us using the contact form, specifying the internet browser you are using and its version, as well as your screen resolution for a computer or the model of your phone. We will then investigate your problem.
